November 12, 2001 -- Micro Laboratories,
Inc. is pleased to announce we have achieved accreditation
to ISO/IEC 17025 from the American Association for
Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA). This accreditation is the
highest level of recognition obtainable, from one of the
most respected laboratory accreditation organizations in the
United States. The accreditation was granted on August 30,
2001, and is valid until July 31, 2003.
This accreditation was granted after a 2 day intensive
assessment by a Metrology Expert sent to Micro Laboratories,
Inc. by A2LA. After successful completion of the assessment,
Keith Kokal, Laboratory Manager said, “ this further
demonstrates our commitment to maintaining a leadership role
in supporting our clients in the manufacturing industry”.
ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation by A2LA is based on competence
and is only granted to laboratories that meet demanding
international standards.
Micro Laboratories, Inc. was previously accredited by A2LA
to ISO Guide 25. ISO/IEC 17025 replaces ISO Guide 25. As
